For agents: gifting Tidings to your clients

How the gift program works end to end — setup, what your client sees, and what happens at renewal.

Updated July 17, 2026

Tidings' gift program lets you give a client a full year of Tidings Pro as a closing gift — with your name and brokerage on their dashboard the whole year. The overview lives at tidings.house/agents; this guide covers the mechanics. Still comparing gifts? See closing gift ideas for real estate agents.

  1. Get set up. Email support@tasks.house — we create your personal gift link (tasks.house/g/your-name) and take care of everything behind it.
  2. Send your link to your client. It carries your name, so the gift is unmistakably from you.
  3. They claim it themselves. Your client clicks the link, signs up, and the gifted year applies automatically — no promo code to type, no card required from them.
  4. You're on their dashboard all year. "Your Tidings Pro is a gift from you" appears on their dashboard, sidebar, and billing page, with an optional Contact link straight to you.
Good to know: At the end of the gifted year, your client is never charged automatically — there's no card on file. In the final 60 days they see a clear heads-up with a one-time continuation offer. You can also cover their next year and stay on their dashboard — just email us.
Tip: Gift-giving rules vary by brokerage and state. Most agents treat Tidings like any other closing gift — but check with your broker if you're unsure.
Still stuck? Open Tidings and use the Report a problem button in the corner of any page — it comes straight to us.
