Adjust how often tasks come due

Three dials: one task's interval, your whole plan's pace, and how far ahead you look.

Updated July 6, 2026

  1. One task: open it and change Repeat every (days). Good for a single chore that runs too hot or too cold for your home.
  2. The whole plan: go to SettingsPreferences and pick a task spacing — Standard, Relaxed, or Minimal. Relaxed and Minimal stretch the intervals of important and routine tasks across the board; a live example shows the effect before you save.
  3. Your view: on the Tasks page, the range control (Next 30 days through Next 12 months) sets how far ahead the list looks. It changes what you see, not when anything is due.
Good to know: Overdue and due-soon tasks always show regardless of the range you pick.
